St. Anthony Messenger Press: Catholic books, audiobooks, video and other products from St. Anthony Messenger Press and Servant Books are available at this Web site.
Pace e Bene: For Pace e Bene, nonviolence is more than a principle for effective protest – it is a way of life. For two decades Pace e Bene’s unique approach has been transforming lives and reaching people around the globe, offering individuals and organizations tools to envision nonviolent alternatives – and to put them into practice.
American Catholic: American Catholic is for Catholics, all Christians and seekers. Find Roman Catholic Saints, Catholic Church Questions and Catholic News. Post Prayer Requests and send Catholic e-cards. Discover Catholic Books, Catholic Audio Books, Catholic Videos, and a leading Catholic Magazine.
Franciscan Radio: American Catholic Radio is produced by Franciscan Communications, a ministry of St. Anthony Messenger Press, from the Franciscan friars of Cincinnati, Ohio. Production is made possible through a grant from the Catholic Communication Campaign of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Franciscan Web Page: The Franciscans were founded by Saint Francis of Assisi (1182-4 Oct 1226) and Saint Clare of Assisi (1194-11 Aug 1253). The Franciscan Orders include, for Roman Catholics, the Friars Minor (Order of Friar Minor (OFM), Order of Friars Minor Capuchin (OFM Cap) and Order of Friars Minor Conventual (OFM Conv)), the Poor Clares, and the Third Order. Anglicans Franciscans may join the one of three Anglican Franciscan Orders, and other Protestants may join the Order of Ecumenical Franciscans. Those in Northern Europe may be interested in Assisi-Kredsen.
The Franciscans (OFM): What is unique about the Franciscans is the fact we are not limited to a specific ministry. You may find friars serving God's people in the classroom, in parishes, soup kitchens, or perhaps at an AIDS hospice. What is special to the Franciscans is our focus on our brotherhood, living lives that reflect simplicity, humble obedience and being celibate for the sake of the Kingdom.
Franciscans International: Franciscans International is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with General Consultative status at the UN, uniting the voices of Franciscan brothers and sisters from around the world. We operate under the sponsorship of the Conference of the Franciscan Family (CFF) and serve all Franciscans and the global community by bringing spiritual, ethical, and Franciscan values to United Nations forums and agendas.
Dominicans at the United Nations: The Order of Preachers (Dominicans) around the world has a permanent presence at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, as part of our ministry of bringing the Gospel values of justice and peace to the world. We share a joint office and work together with Franciscans International in Geneva. Our major partners and collaborators are brothers and sisters in the field who are active in promoting and defending human rights in many parts of the world. We also collaborate with the office of the Dominican Leadership Conference at the United Nations in New York.
Canticle Cafe: The Canticle Cafe in Detroit, Michigan, is a Franciscan ministry of radical hospitality extending community beyond the margins of traditional outreach by serving those in need with uncompromising dignity, reverence and respect.
Trinity Stores: Trinity Stores has partnered with three non-profit organizations working to provide financial support for those whom they are helping through various human rights endeavors around the world and to end poverty. Franciscans Network and The San Damiano Foundation and Women of Faith and Hope (Las Mujeres de Esperanza y Fe).
